Joe Marshall is an avid follower of all things politics and works in the D.C. Metro area. He received his undergraduate degree from George Mason University in Fairfax with a B.S. in Marketing and a Minor in Economics. While studying at George Mason, he had the opportunity to attend an international residency direct exchange program with the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom and was able to travel to numerous countries throughout Europe, obtaining a glimpse into the perspective of an American abroad.
A creative by nature, his honest approach to artistic mediums was something that came naturally; just tinkering with software and other endeavors eventually lead him to open a business with his brother Tom. His previous experiences include being a nationally published author in a paintball-only magazine, the marketing coordinator for his father’s U.S. Senate Campaign, an extreme sports photographer, musician and general creative with his brother and colleague Tom, operating at their web and print design agency, Sire Studios Inc. they both founded in March of 2009.
Political activity also started as early as age 5 where Joe was stuffing envelopes with his brother Tom, at age 3, for their father, current State Delegate Robert G. Marshall. Active in both the Young Republicans of Prince William County as well as the GOP PWC Committee, Joe is honored to join Restore the Founders’ Vision as political solutions provided by politicians continue to fail, we must look deeper for solutions provided not at the whims of politicians but at our own homegrown communities. Increasingly, we must turn towards our fellow neighbor for answers to rebuild those “little democracies” Tocqueville often referred to in orderĀ to restore the American Republic. This succinct idea, while challenging to implement, is our best hope for a true revival in America. Currently residing in Northern Virginia, Joe enjoys mountain biking, soccer, travel, photography and drums and music of all sorts.
